Finally, I have convinced myself that I can make time for maintaining this blog. I’ve been putting off starting a blog for months now because I’ve seen so many blogs that have just one or two entries in them and then their owners just abandon them due to lack of either time, interest, or verbal skill. I don’t want to start something and have it end up just another loose thread in my life, so I’m hoping now that I do have the time and energy to keep this going.

I used to have a website, long before this blog craze came up. I had a few entries there that I think were actually worth reading, or at least quite interesting, and I’ll probably post some of them here every once in a while. In the meantime, I just feel that I have to point out that I still haven’t replaced my screwed up monitor, therefore if the colors on your screen are less than pleasing to the eye, (which I hope they’re not) please do not blame it on artistic ineptitude on my part.

So there. My first ever blog entry! Woohoo! Now let’s see if I can keep this up. Wish me luck.
